WELCOME TO MOUNT CARMEL LUTHERAN CHURCH!

84th street doors Above the door of Mount Carmel hangs a sign that reads, “The Welcome Place.” It is our desire to be just that—a welcoming community for all people who seek a place to be cherished and supported as they grow in their relationship with God. At Mount Carmel our congregation reflects a diversity of God’s people—single and married, young and old, those who have grown up in the church, and those who are seeking for the first time a deeper truth to anchor their lives. What we hold in common is our desire to understand God’s love through the amazing story of Jesus and to live that love out in the world. Our new members often say that they came to Mount Carmel for the first time because they saw the sign, “The Welcome Place” over our door, and they stayed because they found when they entered the door that the sign was true.

If you are seeking a church home, we invite you to explore our ministry through this Web site or contact either Pastor Richard Johnson or Pastor Rachel Young Binter or office@mountcarmelchurch.org
