Welcome to Mount Carmel

Mount Carmel Lutheran Church is a spiritual community of Word and Sacrament grounded in the belief that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and Life for us.

We desire to have the same mind and motivation that was found in the essence of Jesus’ ministry throughout His days on earth.  Our vision as a diverse community is rooted in these principles – to love, care, value, inspire and hope as Jesus did.

Recognizing that there are those who have historically experienced rejection within congregational life, we strive to welcome and affirm the participation of all people into our community of faith – people of all ages, ethnic and racial backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, physical and mental abilities, educational backgrounds, family status, and financial conditions.

Our deepest desire is to honor our compassionate God and be of service to all of God’s children everywhere.

Mount Carmel Lutheran Church is a Reconciling in Christ Congregation.

Are you looking for a church where there are open hands and open hearts? Have you been longing for a safe place to ask questions and make real connections between faith and life? Do you want to be a part of a community that strives to make a difference in the world? Are you hoping your children might have a church where they feel welcome and can learn the sacredness of their lives?

At Mount Carmel, we invite all people to come and enter into the deep truth of God’s love for us and for the whole creation. Through lively worship, relevant preaching, meaningful education, compassionate community, and service to others we seek to help each other understand more deeply and live more powerfully the heart of God shown to us in Jesus. It is in the ever deepening journey of faith that our lives take on their greatest meaning and joy. Come and join us as we act with love, inspire hope, value others, and care for the world!
