Reformation Partnership

Mount Carmel is blessed to be a partner congregation of Reformation Lutheran Church, located in the heart of the city of Milwaukee. In a world that often remains divided by culture and economics, this partnership graces us with the opportunity to gather past human boundaries as a witness to God’s kingdom—a kingdom where all people are equally loved and saved and precious in God’s sight. As we pray for one another, study the Word together, share the stories of our lives and longing of our hearts, and participate in each other’s ministries in the world, we are graced in powerful ways.

There are many ways for people of all ages to share in this partnership ministry. Shared meals and Bible studies are held on a regular basis along with an open invitation for us to worship and attend one another’s ministry events. Participation in Reformation’s neighborhood walks help us all witness for peace and hope in our city. Contributions of food for Reformation food pantry can be brought to the Giving Place outside Mount Carmel’s worship area and volunteers from Mount Carmel gather weekly on Monday mornings to help at Reformation’s Neighborhood Store.
