Cooking Club

Cooking ClubCooking Club meets about every other month to cook and eat a meal together, typically around a theme. Themes have included Italian, German, Indian, soup, healthy food − and even bacon.

Mount Carmel cooks have also invited a guest chef to teach them some new tricks.

Those who attend choose recipes and bring the ingredients. Typically, they prepare food together from about 6-6:30 p.m., cook from 6:30-7 and then enjoy the meal together.

The next month’s theme and date are decided after the group is finished eating, and the information is announced in the bulletin. Newcomers are always welcome, and all are welcome to participate as frequently as they’d like.
