Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl ministry began in the fall of 2006. Soft, warm prayer shawls are knit or crocheted with each stitch representing a prayer for the recipient. A faithful group of women work on these shawls at home and gathers monthly to share fellowship, encouragement, tips and tricks. Shawls are kept available for members to give to someone in need of prayer during times of illness, grief, or any life change. Over 200 prayer shawls have been given as comforting gifts of love.
