 The Women’s Ministry at Mount Carmel has many forms, but serves the
same purpose—to give women the opportunity to come together to grow
in faith and friendship. Please read through the descriptions of women’s
gatherings below. There is a place for everyone to come and be filled in
spirit and joined with other sisters on the journey. For more information

Wednesday Mornings at 9:30 AMStage Lounge Are you looking for a resting place in your busy life? A time set apart to let go, breathe deeply, and feel God’s presence with you? Then come and join us for a time of prayer Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Stage Lounge. Prayer truly is God’s gift to us so that we can remember the beauty and power and love of God that enfolds our lives. Give yourself this gift. Come when you are able. You may pray silent or spoken prayers, or just share in the prayers of others. You will leave renewed and centered in God’s love for us all. Come whenever the Spirit moves you! A great way for you to get away and take some time to nourish your body, mind and soul! Held annually at various retreat centers located in Wisconsin. Open to Mount Carmel women and their friends.
There are three women’s circles that meet once a month to study the Bible, share prayer and friendship and enrich their souls. Lutheran World Relief Quilters  All willing hands are welcome to join us from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.
Bring your own lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Generally, the ladies meet on the first and third Mondays of the month--call the office to confirm the dates. We continue to need the support of the congregation by supplying us with prayers, fabric, old drapes, sheets, blankets, etc., that could be used for making quilts. Donations can be dropped off at the church office on weekdays or left in the Giving Place area on Sunday mornings. Thank you for continuing to support this important ministry that touches the lives of so many in need. Bridge Marathon
Do you play bridge and enjoy the company of other bridge players? How
about a bit of “snacking” as you play? If you answered “yes” to
any of these questions, we hope you will consider joining the Mount Carmel
Bridge Marathon. There are groups for women, as well as a couples’ group,
who play once a month beginning in September and ending in May. The people who play are friendly and fun – no “killer” players – so
