Church Nursery

The worship services at Mount Carmel vary in style from week to week in order to honor the different ways that people enter into the presence of God.

The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sundays / weekends (summer) of the month.  On these Sundays / weekends we alternate between the more traditional words and organ music of the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal and two more contemporary settings, Now the Feast and Celebration and Bread of Life, which are led by piano and a variety of instrumentalists.

On the second and fourth Sundays / weekends (summer) of the month we take time for a “worship story” with our young people. These services also take many forms--from spoken litany services to a more traditional sung liturgy.

All our worship services are supported by our excellent choirs available to people from age 4 through adults.

In between services from 9:30-10:30 (September-May) we have education hour which includes Sunday School for children ages 3-18 and a variety of Adult Education.
