Youth ministry serves to involve and integrate youth into the family of Christ. There are opportunities to learn and grow in faith, to worship, and to develop relationships with Christian peers. Caring for the community around us is also encouraged at all age levels of youth ministry at Mount Carmel. As Christians, we believe we have a special calling through baptism to be instruments of love and service to the world. Jesus is our model; he washed the feet of his disciples, called them friends, and challenged them to go forth and do likewise. Parents are essential in the faith development of their children and
are welcomed and

encouraged to participate in all youth events as they
are able.
